not again!

In this article, Music industry seeks digital radio copying limits - Jun. 11, 2004 the RIAA once again is trying to block beneficial and useful technology for purely selfish purposes. Not that I don't understand their problem and aren't sensitive to the music creator's rights, but quit fighting technology and just change your paradigm. There is no legitimate reason that the government should restrict consumers from having the latest and greatest music technology available to them, especially when it's a commercial entity that is leading the charge. It Microsoft were attempting this, the entire world would be up in arms. We're not talking about government sensitive information here, we're talking about music and better broadcast technology. Where are the anti-trust attorneys when you need them?
