Whoopee, it's a 3-day weekend!
That and someone figured out how to keep the A/C turned on in our classroom. Of course, it was freezing in there, but at least that helped keep me awake.
Random question: I was reading a recipe last night and it called for "meatless chicken strips". Now chicken is meat, right? So something can't be both meatless and chicken. It can be meatless chicken flavored strips, but it can't be meatless chicken. That's just not right. And it wasn't alone. There was a whole add for these meatless products all identified by the type of meat they weren't, like meatless pepperoni, and meatless turkey. Just call it tofu and be happy. Quit trying to fake yourself (and your family) out. If you're on some anti-meat kick for a particular reason, just admit it and be on it. There's no need to pretend you're eating meat. You're not. Deal with it!
Note to LRWA Prof: stop trying to justify why you won't let us use Lexis and Westlaw until we learn to do research the hard way. We understand you have a legitimate (to you) reason for doing this and that's fine. Whether we get it or not or agree with you or not is irrelevant. We've got to learn it that way because that's how you teach us and how you test us. Personally, I agree with you, but telling us every step along the way that doing it manually is so much better than online becomes to sound trite at some point. So move on already.
My plans for the weekend . . . . housework. And doing all my reading for next week and my library exercise and working on my BLE app. Then there's my fantasy football draft, meeting with friends on Saturday, and trying to finish up Doom 3. It's a good thing I've got 3 days to get all this done.
